Success at the Civic Trust Awards shortlist

Stanley Park High School, Wimbledon Chase Primary School and Columbus School and College have been shortlisted as regional finalists at the Civic Trust Awards. The winners will be announced March next year.

Stanley Park High Education Business Awards 2012

Stanley Park High School in Carshalton won the School Building Award at the Education Business Awards 2012 at the ceremony held at the Emirates Stadium last night. The school has been named the most technologically advanced in the country.

All Saints Benhilton School starts on site in January

The extension of All Saints Benhilton Church of England Primary School will facilitate the expansion from 1FE to 2FE across KS1 and comprises three new class bases, additional storage & sanitary facilities.

Awarded Harpenden Free School

Haverstock has been appointed to design Harpenden Free School a primary school for children aged 4-11 in Harpenden, Hertfordshire. The School is currently based in a fourteenth century tithe barn in a beautiful rural location on the outskirts of Harpenden. It will move to a brand new purpose built school building located in central Harpenden in September 2014.

Haverstock takes part in Open House

We are proud to take part in this year’s Open House event. Stanley Park High and Kentish Town School will be opening their doors to the public this weekend and we will walk visitors through on hourly tours to explain the architecture of the buildings.

Success for Stanley Park at the New London Awards

Stanley Park High was announced as one of the three winners in the Education category of the New London Awards at the NLA annual lunch on 10th July. The New London Awards recognise the very best in architecture, planning and development in the capital. The jury looked for schemes of the highest design quality and awarded those that demonstrate a positive impact on their surroundings and make a wider contribution to life in the city.

Whitecross School scoops Test of Time Award

Whitecross Hereford High School has scooped first prize in the Test of time (education) category at the 2012 British Council for School Environments (BCSE) awards for best practice in UK design and construction of schools. Commenting on the awards, Nusrat Faizullah, chief executive of the BCSE, highlighted that “Whitecross High is amongst the best of our schools – those which have buildings that meet the needs of our teachers and children. As well as highlighting excellence, these awards are a big ‘thank you’ to all those helping to improve our schools.”
