We win Scotland Yard HQ

Our team led by AHMM has won the design competition to create a new central London HQ for the Metropolitan Police Service. A new public realm and a glazed Entrance Pavilion combine to create a welcoming and open face for the organisation, while the refurbished and extended Curtis Green Building behind houses a 21st century working environment to suit changing needs. Throughout, outdoor spaces - including a range of terraces and an illuminated Rooftop Pavilion - provide for a range of uses and make the most of views across the River Thames to London County Hall, Westminster Bridge and the London Eye.

Keynsham makes progress

The external cladding is starting to take shape at the Custodial Suite at Keynsham. Tucked within a tough light industrial setting, bright ceramic tile cladding encases the Prosecution and Investigation office element of the new Custodial Suite we’re building for Avon and Somerset Police. The project aims to promote community engagement with the Police through the new look facility whilst meeting the rigours of day-to-day custodial operations.

Watch The Livity School

We’re pleased to present our latest video on The Livity School. Our friends and clients had a chance to watch a preview at our client event last week. The short film, produced by Grist Communications, tells the story of The Livity School from the design concept to its opening and what it means to its users. Special thanks to all those who participated in the making of this video.

Clients discover Livity

Last night, our clients and friends, joined us to “Discover The Livity School”. The event hosted by Haverstock celebrated the school’s success story and included tours of the building. The night was opened by  John Jenkins, retired founding Partner, and Claire Barton, Partner, who highlighted the importance of keeping high standards in school design despite the current budget constraints in Education projects. Speeches were followed with a preview of a film we have made on how The Livity School was conceived and embraced by its users. The evening was very enjoyable and a great success. It was fantastic to see so many friends, old and new.
