| Our
approach to consultation Haverstock Associates LLP lead partner, John Jenkins is a member of the CABE enabling panel, which advises the police and schools on the successful procurement and design of buildings. Our team fully supports CABE and its policies towards good design. We fully believe that all buildings should seek to be innovative and stimulating within the framework of relevant national standards. We believe we all play a vital role in researching and developing national standards to improve environments for all users. Haverstock Associates LLP have contributed, commented on and edited several design guides since the early 1990s. We are very familiar with national guidelines for many different types of buildings and ensure that all of our work fully adheres to the relevant guidance. Our team works closely with Local Authorities and users to ensure that their needs are reflected in the resulting design. Working effectively in partnership improves the capability to deliver, and we have developed specific principles in order to achieve this approach. We form positive working relationships with all participants in order to discover aspirations, concerns and ideas. We believe that exemplary architecture is achieved through a process of collaboration. Methods which contribute to this are the agreement of both common goals and a formal brief which will record all the building users' needs. These tools help to maintain direction through a project. The feasibility stage is our opportunity to offer specialist advice on the building process, and it aims to ensure that all parties are continually participating in the development of the design, in order arrive at shared ownership of the final solution. Consultation gives us a vital understanding and is an inspiration to designers. Our team believes that effective communications are essential to the success of all projects. We include as many different types of users of the buiding as possible, including those people that will have to run and maintain the building during its life span. we are also committed to the use of design quality indicators. you can read more about this by clicking here. |
