Education Estates 2025
Last week, our Partner, Claire and Associate, Anna attended Education Estates in Manchester.
Championing inclusivity, Haverstock shared presentations on three SEND schools completed in the last year, Hawthorns School, Sir Geoff Hurst Academy and Woodlands Meed College!

Alongside Headteacher Diane Rigg, Anna discussed the similarities and differences in designing schools on sister sites, with diverging cohorts. This rewarding conversation detailed the distinctions between Autism and SEMH, and how designing for these differing cohorts drove distinct contrasts.

With the support of Adam Rowland, Headteacher of Woodlands Meed College, Claire highlighted innovative design solutions that support students in building vocational skills, equipping them with a versatile skillset for later life.
Building on these discussions, Anna and Claire will also be attending Learning Environments in Belfast and Learning Places in Glasgow next month! We are excited to share our strategies for designing tailored educational spaces that foster well-being, inclusion and life readiness.
