Woodlands Meed Opening Ceremony
Last week members of the Haverstock team, Claire, Anna and Kirsten attended the opening ceremony for Woodlands Meed College in West Sussex!

The new build college supports 100 students with a diverse range of physical and learning disabilities, including MLD, SLD, PMLD and autism. Supporting students’ independence, the new campus is fully accessible with specialist facilities for design and technology, science, and foodtech. Offering all students an engaging, full curriculum.

Claire, alongside Woodlands Meed’s Head Teacher, Adam Rowland will be exploring the role of design in supporting independence for young people with SEND at Education Estates in Manchester next month! Their discussion will highlight the importance of tailored learning environments to ensure students are equipped with the skills they need for everyday life.
